Access information:
Granton Castle Walled Garden is an outdoor site with uneven, grassy surfaces, which can be wet or muddy, especially in winter. Wheelchair users and people with other mobility aids visit the garden throughout the year; however, some areas may be difficult to navigate without assistance or if ground conditions are poor. Most events involve slow-paced movement around the garden. Sheltered areas and plenty of chairs are available. The garden has one composting toilet that can be used during events, but it is not fully accessible. There is no running water in the garden, so please bring any food or drink you may need.
All our events are free unless noted otherwise. Donations welcome.

Mario has been passionate about mushrooms since he first started growing them in 2007. He will share his knowledge and experience and he will how to grow mushrooms in your home or garden.

Come join us to nurture the spirits of our beloved orchard. During the cold and long winter they await our song and our blessings for a plentiful harvest. Penny Stone will be leading us in traditional and contemporary Wassailing songs.
There will be apple themed refreshments after some singing and the orchard blessing.
