Access information:
Granton Castle Walled Garden is an outdoor site with uneven, grassy surfaces, which can be wet or muddy, especially in winter. Wheelchair users and people with other mobility aids visit the garden throughout the year; however, some areas may be difficult to navigate without assistance or if ground conditions are poor. Most events involve slow-paced movement around the garden. Sheltered areas and plenty of chairs are available. The garden has one composting toilet that can be used during events, but it is not fully accessible. There is no running water in the garden, so please bring any food or drink you may need.
All our events are free unless noted otherwise. Donations welcome.

Past events
You are warmly invited to join us for our Annual Midsummer Picnic.
We are delighted to have Nigel’s All-Stars playing traditional tunes for us and there will be light refreshments available by donation.
We encourage you to bring a picnic and enjoy the solstice light (Let’s hope for some sun!). You might like to listen to the bird song and take a look at the signs of harvest in the garden.
We have a green gym, children’s nature trail, and garden piano – all waiting to be explored!
